We’re 5-1 in our last 6, but split Thursday.
We kicked things off in Philadelphia with the NFL season opener, and for a while, it looked like our Under 47.5 in Cowboys vs. Eagles was dead on arrival. The offenses traded blows out of the gate, piling up 21–20 by halftime, and the pace was screaming past the number. But then Mother Nature stepped in. A weather delay of more than an hour cooled everything off - literally. When play resumed, both teams lost their rhythm, the defenses tightened up, and the clock kept draining. What looked like a lost cause at the half turned into a comfortable under by the final whistle, cashing our first NFL ticket of the year.
Up in Milwaukee, though, we couldn’t get the same luck. The Brewers came in hot at home but couldn’t solve Ranger Suárez, who kept their bats quiet while the Phillies grabbed the lead early. Freddy Peralta wasn’t as sharp as we’ve seen in recent weeks, and the bullpen couldn’t flip the script. Milwaukee never mounted the big inning they needed, and the moneyline slipped away in a frustrating loss.

Analysis:
We like the Chiefs -3 tonight against the Chargers, who enter Week 1 already battling injuries up front. With star LT Rashawn Slater already sidelined, Justin Herbert faces a tough test against a Chiefs defensive line that should be one of the league’s best.
