Sports Corner Daily’s Results and Yesterday’s Recap

Check out a quick recap of our FREE plays from yesterday. ⤵️

Tuesday 09/02/2025: 2 Units

MLB: Blue Jays to win - 1 Unit (-105) - Win - 1 unit

MLB: Braves/Cubs Under 8.5 - 1 Unit (-130) - Win - 1 unit

Last night we finally caught a good bounce, and both plays landed in the win column. In Cincinnati, José Berríos didn’t have his best stuff and was chased after just two innings, but the Blue Jays’ bats picked him up in a big way. Toronto exploded for four runs in the first and four more in the second to build a quick cushion, then kept the pressure on in a wild back-and-forth slugfest. George Springer went deep twice, Bo Bichette blasted a three-run shot, and Vlad Jr. plus Daulton Varsho chipped in clutch hits as the Jays pulled away late for a 12–9 win over the Reds.

Meanwhile in Chicago, things played out much differently. The Braves and Cubs both found some early offense, but once the bullpens settled in, runs completely dried up. Shota Imanaga worked six strong innings with only three earned runs, while Atlanta’s relief crew blanked Chicago over the final four frames. The game tightened into a pitchers’ duel down the stretch, and the 4–3 final came in well under the total of 8.5, cashing our second ticket of the night.

Over 8.5

Analysis:

We like the over tonight when the Blue Jays take on the Reds. Shane Bieber has pitched well since returning from injury, but he’s still working his way back into full form, and Great American Ball Park is one of the toughest parks in the league to keep runs off the board. Zack Littell gets the ball for Cincinnati… [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

MLB: Philadelphia Phillies vs Milwaukee Brewers - 1 Unit (-115) - 7:40pm ET

Brewers to win

Analysis:

The Brewers look like the stronger play tonight when they host the Phillies. Aaron Nola has really struggled this season, entering with a 6.47 ERA and 1.50 WHIP across 12 starts while giving up nearly two home runs per nine innings. His recent form is even more concerning, as he’s been tagged for a 7.53 ERA over his last three outings, showing little consistency or command. Jose Quintana, meanwhile… [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
