Sports Corner Daily’s Results Yesterday’s Recap

Check out a quick recap of our FREE plays from yesterday. ⤵️

Monday 09/29/2025:  -1.05 Units

NFL:  New York Jets vs Miami Dolphins Under 44.5 - 1 Unit (-105) - Lost - -1.05 unit

LIVE WNBA: Las Vegas Aces -7.5 - 1 Unit (-110) - LIVE - 1 unit

Miami pulled out a 27-21 win over the Jets on Monday Night Football, sending our Under ticket down late. The Jets actually outgained Miami by 100+ yards but couldn’t get out of their own way - three lost fumbles and 13 penalties killed any chance of pulling the upset. Justin Fields’ return couldn’t overcome the miscues.  For Miami, it was a night of highs and lows. Darren Waller looked sharp in his comeback, hauling in two red-zone touchdowns from Tua Tagovailoa, while De’Von Achane ripped off a highlight TD run to extend the lead. But the Dolphins also suffered a massive blow – Tyreek Hill was carted off with a season-ending knee injury, a devastating loss for their offense going forward.  Jets fall to 0-4, while Miami picks up its first win of the year at 1-3.

We posted an early play for the WNBA yesterday.  The stage is set in Vegas for a win-or-go-home Game 5. The Aces are chasing a third Finals trip in four years, and they’ll have the edge at home where they’ve dominated, winning 20 of their last 23 overall. A’ja Wilson continues to be the league’s toughest matchup, averaging 24+ points and 9+ boards while Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray give the defending champs balance on both ends.  Indiana deserves credit for a gutsy run, but the injuries are piling up - no Caitlin Clark, Sophie Cunningham, or Aari McDonald - leaving Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston with an uphill climb against Vegas’ depth. The Fever have covered as underdogs plenty this year, but the Aces’ experience and home-court advantage make them tough to fade in this spot.

Tarik Skubal over 18.5 outs

Analysis:

Detroit sends ace Tarik Skubal to the mound, and he’s been as steady as it gets all season, posting a 2.21 ERA with elite strikeout-to-walk numbers and giving the Tigers a real shot every time he takes the ball.
