Thursday 09/18/2025: -.3 Units
❌ MLB: Buffalo Bills -6.5 First Half Spread - 1 Unit (-130) - Lost - -1.3 unit
✅ MLB: Milwaukee Brewers -1.5 - 1 Unit (+105) - Win - 1 unit
We looked for Buffalo to start fast with the first half spread -6.5 (-130), but Miami hung around early before the Bills pulled away late in a 31-21 win. Josh Allen was sharp, completing 22 of 28 passes for 213 yards and three touchdowns, including a go-ahead strike to Khalil Shakir in the fourth quarter. James Cook gashed the Dolphins on the ground for 108 yards and a score, becoming the first player in 36 games to rush for 100+ against Miami. The Bills’ defense sealed the victory when linebacker Terrel Bernard read Tua Tagovailoa perfectly and intercepted him in the red zone with three minutes left. While Buffalo extended its dominance over Miami to seven straight wins, the early cover didn’t materialize as the Dolphins kept it close through two quarters.
Our second play of the night cashed with the Brewers -1.5 (+105), as Milwaukee completed the sweep of the Angels in a 5-2 victory. Christian Yelich doubled home his 100th RBI of the season as part of a three-run rally in the seventh that broke a 2-2 tie, marking his first 100-RBI campaign since his MVP season in 2018. Quinn Priester continued his remarkable run, striking out 10 and allowing just two runs over 5 2/3 innings, giving him a Brewers-record 12 straight winning decisions. Milwaukee’s bullpen held firm, with Aaron Ashby earning the win and Jared Koenig closing the door in the ninth. The Brewers have now won the last 19 games Priester has pitched in, and their magic number to clinch the NL Central is down to four as they head into the weekend.
