Yesterday’s free plays went 1-1.
In Baltimore, our Pirates/Orioles Under 7.5 came through in a tight pitcher’s duel. Paul Skenes reached the 200-strikeout milestone with eight punchouts over five shutout innings, while Tyler Wells allowed just one hit in 6 2/3 strong frames. The game stayed quiet into extras before rookie Dylan Beavers delivered a walk-off single to give the Orioles a 2-1 win in 10 innings.
In Arlington, the Brewers/Rangers Under 7.5 didn’t go our way. Milwaukee jumped out with back-to-back homers to start the game, but Texas answered with power of its own as Jake Burger went deep twice, including a two-run shot that put the Rangers firmly ahead. The 6-3 final pushed this one over the total and snapped the Brewers’ long streak without being swept
