Sports Corner Daily’s Results and Yesterday’s Recap
Check out a quick recap of our FREE plays from yesterday. ⤵️
Thursday 10/2/2025: 2 Units
✅ NFL: Jake Tonges over 25.5 receiving yards - 1 Unit (-125) - Win - 1 units
✅ NCAAF: New Mexico St. +2.5 - 1 Unit (-115) - Win - 1 unit
The 49ers went into Thursday night missing Brock Purdy, George Kittle, and their top three wideouts - but that only set the stage for Jake Tonges to step up. The young tight end became Mac Jones’ safety blanket, drawing a team-high 11 targets and converting them into 7 catches for 41 yards and a touchdown. Our number was 25.5 receiving yards, and Tonges cleared it before the end of the third quarter. His steady production kept the chains moving and gave San Francisco just enough firepower to escape Los Angeles with a 26-23 overtime win. A textbook “next man up” performance that delivered our first winner of the night.
In the late window, New Mexico State kept its undefeated home record alive with a 37-10 victory over Sam Houston - and our +2.5 ticket never felt in danger. Logan Fife was efficient, throwing for 255 yards and a pair of scores, but it was the fourth quarter explosion that sealed it. The Aggies ripped off 14 points in just 54 seconds, capped by Josiah Charles’ touchdown grab and a 71-yard pick-six from Naeten Mitchell. That sequence turned a tight contest into a blowout, pushing NMSU to 3-0 at home and giving us another easy cover to close the night 2-0.
Free plays can’t miss right now - 7-0 in our last 7 for +7.37 Units, and 20-4 over the last 24 for +16.45 Units. That’s a heater you don’t want to sleep on.
