Sports Corner Daily’s Results and Yesterday’s Recap

Check out a quick recap of our FREE plays from yesterday. ⤵️

Thursday 10/30/2025: 0 Units

NHL: UTSA +5.5 - 1 Unit (-105) - Win - 1 units

NHL: Devils -1.5 - 1 Unit (+118) - Lost - -1 units

UTSA cashed exactly how we mapped it: play from even/ahead and force Tulane off script. After the Green Wave’s 75-yard opener, the Roadrunners ripped 31 unanswered and never looked back. Owen McCown (31-of-33, 370, 4 TD) was hyper-efficient, with David Amador II and Devin McCuin stacking separation and YAC all night (18 catches, 209 yards, 4 TD combined). The home edge held (22 straight regular-season conference wins under Jeff Traylor), and four Tulane turnovers buried any backdoor. 48–26 final - our +5.5 was never in doubt.

We needed New Jersey to play from ahead and lean on their 5-on-5 shot share for -1.5 to live. Instead, :42 into the game William Eklund flipped the state on a breakaway, and San Jose stacked two more (Kurashev, Wennberg) for 3–0 before the first horn. The Devils pushed - Dawson Mercer cashed two PPGs and they carried play for stretches of the second - but Alex Nedeljkovic (29 saves) killed the comeback at evens. Late second-period strikes (Will Smith, Tyler Toffoli) put the puckline out of reach as the Sharks grabbed their first home win. Our plus-money -1.5 leaned on positive game script and empty-net equity; the early 3-0 hole erased both.

Capitals -1.5

Analysis:

We’re turning a heavy home favorite into plus money by laying the puck line. Washington’s form fits the profile: best GA in the league (2.20/game) with steadier goaltending (Thompson’s 5–2–0, 1.44 GAA to date), while the Islanders arrive on a back-to-back with a leaky blue line (3.80 GA, 27th)... [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

NBA: New York Knicks vs Chicago Bulls - 1 Unit (-110) - 8:00pm ET

Karl Anthony Towns Over 34.5 Points + Rebounds

Analysis:

Pace and paint volume set this up: Chicago’s sixth-fastest tempo plus Vucević’s rim deterrence issues funnel shots and boards to interior/face-up bigs, and KAT is the Knicks’ half-court hub next to Brunson (34–36 minutes with a high touch rate)...
