Sports Corner Daily’s Results Yesterday’s Recap
Check out a quick recap of our FREE plays from yesterday. ⤵️
Monday 10/27/2025: -2.24 Units
❌ NFL: Mariota Mariorta Over 28.5 Rushing Yards - 1 Unit (-112) - Lost - -1.12 units
❌ NFL: Brashard Smith Over 15.5 Receiving Yards - 1 Unit (-112) - Lost - -1.12 units
A sluggish, turnover-heavy first half set a weird tone, but the second half swung firmly to Kansas City - and that pace/control combo pinched the rushing ladder for Marcus Mariota. We needed 29, got 28 (8–28, long 8): no chunk scrambles, and KC’s rush-lane discipline kept him squeezing out 3–8 yard keepers rather than breaking contain. Two Washington three-and-outs around the Chiefs’ 80- and 75-yard TD drives plus a 13-play, clock-eating march in the fourth bled snaps and buried late chances to clear the hook. Result: Over 28.5 Rush Yds misses by the half-yard.
The Brashard Smith 15.5 receiving read never materialized. Kansas City funneled the target tree to Kelce (6–99–1) and Rice (9–93–1) with Worthy (5–53) as the tertiary, while RB involvement through the air was almost nil (Hunt 1–2–1). Smith’s usage skewed gadget/ground (3 carries, 8 yards) with a ball on the turf and no receptions recorded, as KC played from ahead and stayed on script. Volume + route share weren’t there;

Mariota Mariorta Over 28.5 Rushing Yards
Analysis:
With Jayden Daniels out, Washington rolls with Mariota, and Kliff Kingsbury doesn’t have to ditch the QB-run menu - Washington’s staff has said the playbook stays largely intact because Mariota mirrors Daniels’ dual-threat profile. Expect designed zone-reads/boots early and green-light scrambles whenever Kansas City sends pressure… [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
NFL: Washington Commanders vs Kansas City Chiefs - 1 Unit (-112) - 8:15pm ET

Brashard Smith Over 15.5 Receiving Yards
Analysis:
Andy Reid has steadily expanded the rookie’s pass-game usage - 3+ catches for 21+ yards in four straight as Kansas City moves him around like a slot/wing (he played WR in college) and dials up swings, options and choice routes. Washington has bled efficiency to backs through the air… [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
