Sports Corner Daily’s Results and Yesterday’s Recap
Check out a quick recap of our FREE plays from yesterday. ⤵️
Thursday 10/16/2025: -0.1 Units
✅ NFL: Andrei Iosivas Over 1.5 Receptions - 1 Unit (-114) - Win - 1 units
❌ NFL: Joe Flacco Under 235.5 Passing Yards - 1 Unit (-110) - Lost - -1.1 units
The plan was to hit Pittsburgh where it’s leakiest - between the numbers - while neutralizing the rush with quick, on-schedule throws. With Cincinnati down two tight ends who’d normally siphon those interior looks, Iosivas slid into that space role and the Bengals dialed up fast hitters (glances, crossers, seams) to keep the ball out quickly. He found clean windows early and cleared the number without drama. Right read on the matchup, and the personnel note (missing TEs) mattered.
We expected a short-week QB still absorbing the playbook behind a shaky line, with Pittsburgh attacking early and often to throttle drives. Instead, we got vintage Flacco and a Ja’Marr Chase clinic. The Steelers lived in man and couldn’t keep Tee Higgins or Chase capped; Flacco answered with rhythm throws, decisive eyes, and mistake-free operation. Our handicap leaned on offensive inconsistency and protection issues - what we missed was how effectively Cincinnati would live in the quick game to erase the rush and let their stars win.

MLB: Toronto Blue Jays vs Seattle Mariners - 1 Unit (+120) - 6:08pm ET

Bryce Miller Under 11.5 Outs
Analysis:
Game 5 in Seattle screams short leash. The Mariners already showed urgency in Game 4 (quick hook, leverage pen ready), and they’ll have Bryan Woo available behind Miller - meaning one stressful inning or second-time-through traffic can get him out before 12 outs… [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
MLB: Milwaukee Brewers vs Los Angeles Dodgers - 1 Unit (+110) - 8:38pm ET
Against the Spread - 👈 Click to get more info on tonights match up
Shohei Ohtani Under 15.5 Outs
Analysis:
Sweep chance = short leash risk. Up 3–0, the Dodgers don’t need length; they need clean innings. With a fully armed bullpen and the ability to keep Ohtani’s bat in the lineup after he leaves the mound, Dave Roberts can pull the plug at the first sign of traffic or a stressful inning rather than letting him wear a second trip through… [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

NFL headlines lead with a throwback duel in Cincinnati, where Joe Flacco outgunned Aaron Rodgers to snap the Bengals’ skid, while Micah Parsons’ gripe about one-sided calls (and the eternal tush-push debate) keeps the officiating discourse front and center. Week 7 preview content is everywhere - picks, survivor angles, lineup sleepers, and odds to calibrate your cards before kickoff. On campus, Week 8 brings SEC fistfights and a blue-blood grudge match in South Bend (USC–Notre Dame), alongside two big-picture reads: the booming “buyout bubble” that keeps coaches cashing out, and a data-heavy case that true parity has finally arrived in college football. On the diamond, Max Scherzer is raging against Father Time - complete with a manager who joked the 41-year-old “was going to kill me” - as October buzz builds around why the Dodgers look downright inevitable.
