Sports Corner Daily’s Results and Yesterday’s Recap

Check out a quick recap of our FREE plays from yesterday. ⤵️

Thursday 10/9/2025:  -2.2 Units

MLB: Tyler Glasnow Under 5.5 Strikeouts - 1 Unit (+106) - Lost - -1 units

NHL: Wan’Dale Robinson Longest Reception Under 17.5 - 1 Unit (-120) - Lost  - -1.2 unit

Glasnow flipped the script in a huge way, turning in one of his sharper postseason outings to send the Dodgers to the NLCS. The right-hander’s command was on point early, pounding the zone with his fastball and working ahead in counts. He piled up eight strikeouts across six innings, showing none of the efficiency issues that have plagued him in past playoff starts. The Phillies forced a few deep counts but couldn’t finish off at-bats, and Glasnow’s curveball–slider combo did the rest. The angle was built on volatility - and for once, Glasnow delivered the opposite.

This one never had a sweat. Robinson cleared the number in the first half on a 35-yard TD and later added another explosive catch over 17.5, turning a short-area role into chunk gains via space and off-script creation with Jaxson Dart. The matchup angle didn’t hold; New York’s playmaking beat the cap from the jump.

Mercury +2.5

Analysis:

Game 4 of the WNBA Finals brings a must-win situation for Phoenix - and the market may be overreacting to both recency bias and the Satou Sabally injury. While losing Sabally hurts, it’s not the death blow oddsmakers are pricing it as. Phoenix has adjusted effectively all postseason when forced into smaller rotations, and they’ve been at their most efficient offensively when leaning on spacing and pace… [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

NCAAF: Rutgers vs Washington - 1 Unit (-110) - 9:00pm ET

Under 61.5

Analysis:

At 9pm on Friday, we’re backing the Under in the Rutgers–Washington matchup from Seattle. Both programs have leaned toward slower, more controlled games this season - and the historical data supports it. Rutgers has gone 30-14 to the Under on the road over its last 44 away games, a reflection of how Greg Schiano’s teams travel: heavy on the run, light on tempo, and focused on field position… [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
