Sports Corner Daily’s Results and Yesterday’s Recap

Check out a quick recap of our FREE plays from yesterday. ⤵️

Tuesday 11/4/2025: -2.1 Units

NBA:  Pelicans -4.5  - 1 Unit (+100) - Lost - -1 units

NCAAB: Valparaiso -6 - 1 Unit (-110) - Lost - -1.1 units

Hooked at the wire. We laid the 4.5 and got the win, not the cover. New Orleans finally snapped the skid 116–112, but Charlotte’s 11–0 burst out of halftime kept this in one-possession territory most of the night. Jose Alvarado’s pull-up 3 with :16 left flipped it, Trey Murphy III (21) and Saddiq Bey (17) added the cushion at the stripe, and rookie Derik Queen (12 in the 4th, 4 steals) made the hustle plays. Still, with LaMelo out and Zion shelved, the Pels closed it by four - a half-point shy by the horn.

Right team, wrong margin. We trusted Valpo to separate at home in the opener, and they led 31–25 at the break behind Isaiah Barnes (15 & 10). But Eastern Illinois wouldn’t fade, riding Preston Turner (16) and second-chance work from Terry McMorris (11 & 11) to hang around. JT Pettigrew’s and-1 with 11.4 left nudged the Beacons ahead 64–63, a late turnover forced, and Rakim Chaney iced it at the line - 66–63 final. Game in control, but empty trips and a grindy pace kept us off the number.

NCAAF: Kent St vs Ball St - 1 Unit (-105) - 7:00pm ET

Ball St -3

Analysis:

We’re laying the field goal with the home side on a night that should be about field position and fourth-quarter execution. Kent State has improved and is playing with juice under Mark Carney, but the profile still screams “traveling fade”: 0–4 away from home with blowout margins and the MAC’s worst scoring defense (36.5 ppg)... [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

NCAAF: Northern Illinois vs Toledo - 1 Unit (-110) - 7:00pm ET

Against the Spread  - 👈  Click to get more info on tonights match up

Northern Illinois +14.5

Analysis:

We’re grabbing the two touchdowns (and the hook) with a road dog built to turn this into a 60-minute slog. Northern Illinois plays slow, leans on the ground, and lets a disciplined defense do the heavy lifting - exactly the profile you want catching a big number against a Toledo team that can stall in the red zone and stack drive-killing flags… [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
