Sports Corner Daily’s Results Yesterday’s Recap

It wasn't our best day yesterday overall, losing both of our picks in heart breaking fashion. Both of the plays were in a great spot,  OKC was leading and covering the spread for the majority of the game, and Seattle was up 4-2 after three innings, and even took the lead in extra innings before allowing the Athletics to steal the win. We will get these two games back, just gotta stay consistent.

Now, let's take a deeper dive on our picks from yesterday, starting in some NBA action where the Denver Nuggets edged out the Oklahoma City Thunder 121–119. Nikola Jokić delivered a dominant performance with 42 points and 22 rebounds. The Nuggets overcame a 13-point fourth-quarter deficit, closing the game on a 19–6 run. Aaron Gordon hit the game-winning three-pointer with 2.8 seconds remaining, securing the victory for Denver. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 33 points, while Alex Caruso contributed 20 points off the bench.

In some MLB action, the Seattle Mariners fell to the Oakland Athletics 7–6 in an 11-inning contest. Jacob Wilson's walk-off single in the bottom of the 11th inning sealed the victory for the Athletics. The Mariners had taken a 6–5 lead in the top of the 10th, but the Athletics responded with a run of their own to push it to an 11th inning. This loss marked Seattle's second consecutive defeat, bringing their record to 20–14, while Oakland improved to 20–16.

Analysis:

The Kansas City Royals and Chicago White Sox are poised for a low-scoring affair today, making the under 8.5 total runs a strong play. The White Sox's offense has been terrible, ranking last in MLB with a .217 batting average and averaging just 3.1 runs per game. Their struggles are further highlighted by a .342 slugging percentage and a .278 on-base percentage, both league lows. The Royals, while more productive… [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

Timberwolves -7

Analysis:

The Timberwolves are primed to cover the 7 points spread tonight against the Warriors, and all signs point to a commanding Minnesota win. They’re well-rested after a short first-round series, while Golden State is coming off a grueling seven-game battle, likely leaving them drained. Minnesota’s defense, anchored by Rudy Gobert and Jaden McDaniels, is built to… [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
