Sports Corner Daily Results and Memorial Weekend Recap

Good morning from Sports Corner Daily. Hopefully you all got to enjoy a long weekend! We will start out by owning an awful day yesterday. We gave out our VIP Plays to all and nothing fell our way. I do want to remind you, all of the plays we send out are thoroughly researched and not often do we have a day like we had yesterday. The good thing is, today is a new day! The team has been working since late last night to provide you with a good comeback day.

Lets dive into some of our plays from the weekend, starting out with Friday where the Indiana Pacers defeated the New York Knicks 114–109, hitting our Pacers over team total,  in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals, taking a 2–0 series lead. Pascal Siakam led the Pacers with a playoff career-high 39 points, while Tyrese Haliburton added 23 points and 11 assists. The Pacers' efficient offense and strong shooting secured the win. In MLB, the Milwaukee Brewers fell to the Pittsburgh Pirates 6–3, missing on our money line selection. Brewers' pitcher Freddy Peralta allowed four earned runs over five innings, and the team's offense was limited, with a solo home run by Willy Adames in the eighth inning being a highlight.

On Saturday, the Florida Panthers dominated the Carolina Hurricanes with a 6–2 victory in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Final, taking a 3–0 series lead. The Panthers exploded with five goals in the third period, including two goals each from Niko Mikkola and Aleksander Barkov. Jesper Boqvist also contributed with a goal and two assists. The Panthers' aggressive play and offensive depth overwhelmed the Hurricanes. In the NBA, the Minnesota Timberwolves got some revenge and destroyed the Thunder in game 3, leading by as much as 40 points at times and never letting Oklahoma City get back into the game. Unfortunately the game went over our 218 total selection, giving us a loss on our under selection.

On Sunday, The New York Knicks staged a remarkable comeback to defeat the Indiana Pacers 106–100 in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Trailing by as many as 20 points, the Knicks were propelled by Karl-Anthony Towns, who scored 20 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter. Jalen Brunson added 23 points, despite being limited by foul trouble. The Pacers struggled offensively, shooting just 5-of-25 from three-point range and 44.2% overall. This victory cut the Pacers' series lead to 2–1. In MLB action, the Texas Rangers defeated the Chicago White Sox, securing a win on the money line. The Rangers' offense was led by Josh Jung, who hit a home run, and pitcher Dane Dunning, who delivered a strong performance into the seventh inning. The White Sox's bullpen struggles contributed to their loss.

Finally, on Monday, the Oklahoma City Thunder edged out the Minnesota Timberwolves 128–126 in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals, taking a 3–1 series lead. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 40 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists, while Jalen Williams added 34 points, including six three-pointers. Chet Holmgren contributed 21 points and three blocks in his hometown of Minneapolis. The Thunder's offense was potent, shooting 16-for-37 from beyond the arc, and they managed to hold off the Timberwolves' late surge.

Phillies to win

Analysis:

We like the Phillies will win outright because they have a strong track record as favorites, going 29-15 when on the moneyline this season, including a solid 29-14 when favored by -114 or less. They rank among the top teams offensively with the No. 7 MLB scoring 4.9 runs per game, and their batting average of .261 is third-best in the majors, complemented by a low strikeout rate of 7.8 per game. Their pitching staff is also outstanding, leading MLB with a 9.8 K/9 and sporting a solid 3.72 team ERA. Key players like Kyle Schwarber, with 18…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

Pacers -2.5

Analysis:

The Knicks' comeback in Sunday’s game, requiring a near-flawless fourth quarter, underscored how crucial clutch performances are at this stage of the series, and the question now is whether they can replicate that effort again. While they still heavily rely on Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns’ standout 20-point fourth quarter highlighted the importance of secondary scoring. Indiana’s significant depth advantage, with Rick Carlisle able to deploy an 11-man rotation, is likely to become more impactful as the series progresses and the Knicks’ star players log heavy minutes, potentially leading to fatigue and an edge for the Pacers. However, Indiana’s key concern remains the health of Aaron Nesmith; as long as he's available, they are poised to rally in Game 4, much like they did after losses to…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
