Sports Corner Daily’s Results and Yesterday’s Recap

Well, we went 1-1 yesterday. We had a pretty strong April overall in both FREE plays and VIP. But… It’s a new month… BYE, BYE April…

Wonder how many times we will see a version of this Meme going around today. Anyway, let’s kick May's ass!

Here is a quick snapshot of yesterday's plays ⤵️

 NBA: Golden State +4.5 - 1 Unit (-110) - Lost

NHL: Winnipeg Jets to win - 1 Unit (-170) - Win

Let's take a closer look at our picks, starting in the NBA where the Golden State Warriors were defeated by the Houston Rockets with a final score of 131–116 in Game 5 of their first-round playoff series. The Rockets established a commanding lead early, going up by 27 points at halftime. Despite a late push from the Warriors' bench, they couldn't close the gap enough to cover the +4.5 spread, resulting in a loss for our pick.

In the NHL playoffs, the Winnipeg Jets secured a 5–3 victory over the St. Louis Blues in Game 5 of their first-round playoff series, hitting our selection on the Jets. Kyle Connor led the Jets with a goal and two assists, helping the team take a 3–2 lead in the series and a chance to close out the series on Friday night.

Over 7.5

Analysis:

Given the recent performance and current form, I believe this game is poised to go over 7.5 total runs. New York likely has a strong mental edge after last night's narrow loss, and they’ll be motivated for a quick rebound. On the mound, Zac Gallen has been struggling significantly — with a 1-4 record and a bloated 5.57 ERA, which has worsened in recent starts (7.36 ERA over his last two). This indicates he's not quite himself and may continue to be vulnerable today. Conversely, Kodai Senga has been exceptional, allowing only 4 earned runs in 28 2/3 innings, with recent success in limiting the long ball, which was a concern earlier in the season. Considering these factors, the edge clearly favors…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

Tigers to win

Analysis:

The Tigers have been highly successful as a moneyline favorite this season, winning 73.3% of their games when they’re favored, including an impressive 78.6% when odds are -121 or shorter, indicating they perform well in high-pressure situations where they’re expected to win. In contrast, the Angels have struggled as underdogs, winning only 38.1% of their games when they’re not favored, and just 33.3% when their underdog odds are at least +102; this suggests they tend to underperform relative to expectations. Offensively, Detroit ranks near the middle in runs scored and home runs but is notable for…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
