Let's dig in a bit further on yesterday’s selections. Starting in Cincinnati where the Milwaukee Brewers edged out the Cincinnati Reds 3-2, extending their winning streak to eight games—their longest since August 2023. Christian Yelich, named National League Player of the Week earlier that day, hit a decisive solo home run in the third inning, his fourth in six games. Starting pitcher Aaron Civale delivered 5 1/3 solid innings, allowing two runs, while Trevor Megill secured his 12th save with a clean ninth inning.

In LA, the New York Mets triumphed over the Dodgers 4-3 in a ten-inning thriller at Dodger Stadium, marking their fourth consecutive win. Francisco Lindor set the tone with a leadoff homer, and Francisco Álvarez contributed a crucial RBI double in the 10th inning. Despite Shohei Ohtani's 23rd home run of the season and a game-tying sacrifice fly in the ninth, the Mets held on, with José Butto earning his first save. Starting pitcher Paul Blackburn impressed in his season debut, throwing five scoreless innings.

Under 8.5

Analysis:

The recent matchup history shows the Rangers have won seven straight meetings against the Rays, including a sweep in April, but both teams have demonstrated strong trends toward low-scoring games, with the Rays and Rangers combining for numerous games staying under the total. Rasmussen, the Rays’ pitcher, has been outstanding lately, winning his last three starts without allowing a run and maintaining a streak of four consecutive outings under the total. Similarly, Tyler Mahle for the Rangers has been dominant with a 1.64 ERA, allowing 10 runs or fewer in 10 of his last 12 starts and only six or fewer runs in eight of those, reinforcing the team's overall 40-19-1 to the under and their effectiveness at holding…Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

MLB: NY Mets vs. LA Dodgers - 1 Unit (-140) - 10:10pm ET

LA Dodgers to win

Analysis:

The Dodgers will come out strong and secure the win tonight. They’ve been solid favorites all season, with a 30-19 record when listed as the moneyline favorite—winning over 60% of those games. Specifically, when favored at -143 or shorter, they’ve gone 26-15, which shows their ability to perform under expectations. Although the Mets have had the Dodgers number lately now winning 8 of their last 9 meetings, I don’t see that happening two games in a row in LA (although we were on the right side of yesterday's game winning 1.4 units going against the Dodgers). The Mets, on the other hand, have struggled as underdogs, winning just over half their games in that role, but they’re inconsistent enough that I’d expect the Dodgers to capitalize today, especially with our potent offense that leads the league in runs scored (346) and home runs (98). The Dodgers also boast a robust .268 batting average and average 1.6 home runs per game, making them dangerous at the plate. While our pitching staff isn’t the best on…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
