Check out the recap for yesterday below! ⤵️
✅ MLB: Blue Jays to win - 1 Unit (-110) - WIN - +1 unit
✅ MLB: Brewers to win - 1 Unit (-120) - Lost - -1.2 Units
Starting our recap with a wild game in Camden Yards, the Blue Jays rallied back from a 5-3 deficit with a five-run seventh inning to win the game 9-8. Bo Bichette ignited the rally with a two-run single, and Nathan Lukes, as a pinch-hitter, crushed a three-run homer to take a 9–5 lead. Myles Straw topped the day with a homer, three RBIs, and three hits. The Orioles surged again with three runs in the bottom of the seventh to close it within one, but Toronto’s bullpen- including newcomer Seranthony Domínguez, who struck out two batters less than 24 hours after being traded- contained the damage. Mason Fluharty earned the win, and Jeff Hoffman secured his 25th save.
The Cubs avoided a three-game sweep by exploding for 10 runs in a much-needed 10-3 win. They got off to a fast start when Michael Busch homered on the first pitch, and Moises Ballesteros followed in the third with a massive bases-clearing double. Pete Crow-Armstrong added a pair of hits and scored twice, while Ian Happ connected for a solo homer. Starter Shota Imanaga settled in after early trouble, finishing with eight strikeouts over five innings with no walks. Freddy Peralta, who had won his previous seven starts, was shelled for five runs in just four innings.
