Sports Corner Daily’s Results and Yesterday’s Recap

Good morning! Two important announcements…

1️⃣  First, we have two early games on the card today so be sure to LOCK IN EARLY! Both games have double headers. These games below are both the first game of the doubleheader!

2️⃣  Second, due to the holiday this week our office will be closed. That means there will be no newsletter sends with our plays from Tomorrow, July 3rd through Sunday July 6th. We will pick back up on Monday with our normal newsletter. We will still be putting out our plays on Winible everyday for both FREE play and VIP. If you are not following us on Winible make sure you click on the link below to get the plays through the holiday weekend!

Well… What an evening of bad weather last night. A total of 4 games were postponed or suspended due to bad weather. They will be made up today as a double header. Our Reds play was suspended and they will reconvene this afternoon and pick up in the 4th inning where they left off. ⤵️

Diving into yesterday's plays that we did have (on VIP), starting in Wrigley Field where the Cubs continued their midseason surge with a well-rounded 5–2 win over the slumping Guardians at Wrigley Field. Former Cleveland pitcher Matthew Boyd was brilliant against his old team, spinning seven efficient innings while allowing just two runs and striking out five. The Cubs’ offense wasted no time, erupting for four runs in the second inning—highlighted by a clutch two-run double from Carson Kelly, who finished the night with 3 RBIs. The Cubs hit their 50th win of the season here.

In Phoenix, the Diamondbacks broke things open early behind a three-run homer from Jake McCarthy and a two-run blast by Lourdes Gurriel Jr. Starter Zac Gallen was sharp, striking out ten and allowing just one earned run across seven innings. The Giants struggled at the plate and on the mound, dropping another on the road in lopsided fashion, losing 8-2.

Finally, in Texas, Jacob deGrom was in vintage form, tossing six innings of two-run ball with six strikeouts. The Rangers offense exploded behind Adolis García, who went 3-for-5 with four RBIs, including a two-run double and a two-run single. Rookie Alejandro Osuna added his first career homer, and Texas piled on with 14 total hits in a dominant win over Baltimore, winning 10-2 hitting our -1.5 play and putting the nail in the coffin for our 2 Leg Parlay for VIP!

Today we have another 2 bets lined up for you. Be sure to check out The Full Details and What the Public Thinks on these bets before jumping in. Let’s win some money!

Phillies to win

Analysis:

The rainout of Tuesday’s game has led to a rare doubleheader on Wednesday, shifting the schedule unexpectedly. Nick Pivetta of the Padres appeared to find his rhythm in his most recent outing, delivering seven scoreless innings against the Nationals, giving some hope that he’s regaining form. However, his June performance was less consistent, reflected in his 4.71 ERA for the month. On this road trip, the Padres’ bats have struggled mightily, being shut out by Zack Wheeler and Tanner Banks on Monday, and narrowly avoiding…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

MLB: Milwaukee Brewers vs NY Mets - 1 Unit (+115) - 1:10pm ET

Brewers to win

Analysis:

The Brewers are poised to continue their recent winning streak against the struggling Mets, who have lost 13 of their last 16 games and were thoroughly swept in a three-game series at Pittsburgh, highlighting their ongoing offensive and pitching struggles. Meanwhile, the Brewers are playing with strong confidence, having won eight of their last ten, fueled by Christian Yelich’s remarkable 12-game hitting streak, during which he's batting .410 and driving in 18 runs, and Freddy Peralta’s dominant form on the mound, winning three straight starts with excellent support from…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
