We’re back baby!! It was a long week without much on. The second half of MLB kicks off today! Got a lot of games on. We hit our single play yesterday in the CFL picking up a half unit so let's dive in!
The Alouettes pulled off a dramatic comeback win in Montreal, erasing an 18-point deficit late in the third quarter. Davis Alexander, returning from injury, nearly threw an interception early but finished with a strong performance- 303 passing yards, one passing TD and the go-ahead rushing score from 10 yards out with 1:46 left. Receiver Cole Spieker was instrumental in the rally, hauling in multiple critical catches including the touchdown that cut the lead to 25-20. Montreal held on after an Argos late turnover to secure the thrilling win. Alexander now stands undefeated in his first eight CFL starts, tying a franchise record.
