The 2025 MLB All‑Star Game at Truist Park made history as the first All‑Star Game to be decided by a "swing-off" - a Home Run Derby ‑ style tiebreaker after the game was tied 6-6 following nine innings. Three hitters from each league each got three swings, and Kyle Schwarber of the NL crushed three homers in three swings, securing a 4–3 swing-off win and earning MVP honors for the NL.
