Sports Corner Daily’s Results and Yesterday’s Recap
Happy Hump Day! Exciting day yesterday in the MLB World. The 2025 MLB All‑Star Game at Truist Park made history as the first All‑Star Game to be decided by a "swing-off" - a Home Run Derby ‑ style tiebreaker after the game was tied 6-6 following nine innings. Three hitters from each league each got three swings, and Kyle Schwarber of the NL crushed three homers in three swings, securing a 4–3 swing-off win and earning MVP honors for the NL. This also secured our National League ML Play. ➡ ️ Click here to check out the swing off!
Over in the WNBA the LA Sparks put on a clinic. This was the Sparks first time winning two consecutive games in a row in over a year. The straight up win allowed us to cover the +2.5 spread play - Taking us to 2-0 on the night picking up both half unit plays.

Seattle Storm -5.5
Analysis:
The Storm are coming into this game on a three-game ATS losing streak, which is concerning given their recent inconsistent performance; notably, they suffered an upset loss to Washington, 74-69, despite being a 7-point favorite at home on Sunday, indicating possible issues with maintaining focus or execution against lower-tier opponents. However, historically, Seattle tends to respond well after setbacks, as evidenced by their impressive 21-5-2 ATS record against rivals following a SU/ATS loss, suggesting a strong mental edge and ability to recalibrate under pressure. Still, their recent form is troubling, with failure to cover in each of their… [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
WNBA: Indiana Fever vs NY Liberty - .5 Unit (-115) - 7:30pm ET
Against the Spread - 👈 Click to get more info on tonights match up
Fever +9.5
Analysis:
Will Caitlin Clark play? Clark is questionable due to a groin injury she tweaked in yesterday's game. Either way, with or with CC this is too many points. The Fever has been effective without her on the court. Especially with the absence of NY's Jonquel Jones. The Fever aim to extend their four-game road winning streak against the New York Liberty, who enter the game with an 8-2 conference record and strong team play, led by Natasha Cloud’s 6.1 assists per game. Indiana is effective offensively in the paint, averaging 40.7 points with Aliyah Boston contributing significantly, and boasts a…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
