Big Bets Tonight: Tennessee Takes on Kentucky, Wyoming ATS Lock

Sports Corner Daily’s ðŸ‘€ Results from 01/27/2025

Last night Sports Corner Daily went 1-1 in our selections. Starting in the NBA, the Orlando Magic blew a 12 point lead they had early in the 4th quarter and let the Miami Heat come back and force overtime. The game ended up going to 2nd overtime where the Miami Heat got the win 125-119, blowing our Magic -1 pick. Tyler Herro led all scorers with 30 points for the Heat. The Heat now sit at 23-22, good enough for the 6 seed in the east.

In some hockey action last night, the Philadelphia Flyers pulled off the upset over the New Jersey Devils, winning the game 4-2. The Flyers jumped out to a 3-0 lead early in the second period. The Devils responded by scoring two unanswered goals but couldn't get the last goal to tie it up before giving up an empty net goal to end the game. The Devils fall to 28-18-6 and have now lost 5 of their last 7 games.

Looking forward to today, we have 3 picks for you. Be sure to check out The Full Details and What the Public Thinks on these bets before jumping in. Let’s win some money!

Today's LIVE Bets:

NCAAB: Kentucky Wildcats @ Tennessee Volunteers - 7:00pm ET

Tennessee -9.5

Analysis:

After a strong start, Kentucky's basketball team has hit a rough patch, largely due to injuries. Power forward Andrew Carr missed Saturday's loss to Vanderbilt and is uncertain for upcoming games, while guard Kerr Kriisa has been sidelined for some time. Additionally, two-way player Lamont Butler, known for his defensive skills and 13 points per game, will also be unavailable. Mark Pope's candidacy for Coach of the Year has diminished following four losses in the last eight games. Meanwhile, Tennessee recently pushed top-ranked Auburn to the brink before losing by just two points. Kentucky faces the Volunteers at a challenging…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

NHL: Colorado Avalanche @ New York Islanders - 7:30pm ET

Colorado to win

Analysis:

The Colorado Avalanche began the season with a struggling record of 0-4, including a notable 6-2 loss at home to the New York Islanders. Despite this rocky start, Martin Necas has emerged as a standout player, tallying 57 points in 52 games after being part of the trade involving Mikko Rantanen. Historically, the Islanders have not beaten Colorado in back-to-back encounters since the 2019-2020 season.

In terms of statistics, the Avalanche are currently 7th in the league for shot differential at +130, while the Islanders sit at +20. Colorado boasts three players among the top 12 scorers in the league, whereas New York has none. Interestingly, the Islanders are on a four-game winning streak despite being outshot in three of those contests. However, they struggle significantly on special teams, ranking last in both power play percentage (PP%) and penalty kill…

NCAAB: Fresno St. Bulldogs @ Wyoming Cowboys - 8:30pm ET

Wyoming -8

Analysis:

The Cowboys have a strong record of 5-1 against the spread (ATS) this season as favorites and have proven themselves against many of the toughest teams in the Mountain West. They lead the conference in 3-point shooting, while Fresno State ranks in the lower half for defending against three-pointers. The Bulldogs have already suffered five losses by 10 points or more in conference play and are the worst defensive team in the Mountain West, making it challenging for them to keep games close on the road. Currently, they sit at the bottom of the…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
