Sports Corner Daily had another successful night, going 2-1 in our selections. Starting in some NHL action yesterday, the New York Rangers crushed the Philadelphia Flyers 6-1, hitting our Rangers ML pick. As the score shows, it was all New York in this one. The Flyers got their only goal early in the first period but gave up two goals to trail 2-1 heading into the second period. The Rangers had a balanced attack as all 6 goals were scored by different players. New York has now won 4 out of the last 5 games. 

In our other hockey pick, the Utah Hockey Club upset the Minnesota Wild 4-0 in Minnesota. It was a surprising result as the Wild have been having a great season but fall to 28-16-4 after this one. Center Barrett Hayton had two goals for the Utah Hockey Club who now sit at 21-19-7. Minnesota is still in the playoffs in the current standings but have now dropped 4 of out the last 5. 

In some NBA action, the Milwaukee Bucks easily defeated the Miami Heat 125-96, hitting our ML pick. The Bucks had a huge second quarter that opened the game up for them as they outscored the Heat by 19 in the quarter. The game never really got close after that. The Bucks were led by point guard Damian Lillard with 29 points and 11 assists. The Bucks improve to 25-17 on the season and have won 5 straight games.
