Sports Corner Daily was a last second field goal away from perfection yesterday, going 3-1 in our selections. In the college football playoffs last night, we saw Notre Dame and Penn State play in a very close game with Notre Dame kicking a field goal at the very end to win 27-24. Penn State had the early lead at halftime 10-3 and looked to be in a good place up 24-17 in the 4th quarter. Notre Dame scored a touchdown to tie it at 24 a piece with 4 minutes remaining and then got a huge turnover, intercepting a pass from Penn States QB Drew Allar, to give themselves a chance to win it and they took full advantage. Notre Dame gets to watch the game tonight to see who they will play in the college football championship game.
On the Ice last night, we had two hockey picks that both hit for us, continuing the recent hot streak we have had on these picks. The Seattle Kraken lost to the Columbus Blue Jackets 6-2, hitting our over 6 goals pick pretty easily. This pick looked good early, with 6 goals being scored in the first and second periods. It was a balanced attack from the Blue Jackets, with all 6 goals coming from different players. For the Kraken, both goals were scored by forward Eeli Tolvanen. In our other hockey selection, we saw the St Louis Blues easily defeat the Anaheim Ducks 6-2, hitting our Blues -1.5 pick. The Blues jumped out early in this one, leading the game 4-1 after the first period. Forward Robert Thomas led the way for the Blues, scoring 2 goals in the win. The Blues improve to 20-19-4 and will look to build off this win.
Looking forward to today, we have 3 picks for you. Be sure to check out the FULL ANALYSIS on these bets before jumping in. Let’s win some money!

NCAAF: Ohio State Buckeyes @ Texas Longhorns - 7:30pm ET
Buckeyes -6
Analysis:
In tonight's College Football Playoff semifinal at the Cotton Bowl, the recent unstoppable Ohio State Buckeyes (12-2) are favored by 6 points against the Texas Longhorns (13-2). Ohio State's offense, led by quarterback Will Howard, has been prolific, averaging 41 points per game in their last two playoff victories. Their defense has also been formidable, limiting opponents to 21 points in each of those games. NCAAB: UCLA Bruins @ Maryland Terrapins - 8:00pm ET
Maryland -5
Analysis:
In tonight’s college basketball game, the Maryland Terrapins are in good shape to cover this at as much as 5.5. The Bruins have been plagued by distractions, including local wildfires in Westwood, and are struggling mightily on the court. Their offense has gone ice-cold from beyond the arc, shooting an abysmal 6-of-48 on three-pointers in recent losses to Nebraska and Michigan. Key guard Dylan Andrews has also been ineffective, managing only 7 points across his last four games. Meanwhile, the Terrapins are thriving at home, boasting dominant December wins over Ohio State and Syracuse. Maryland’s balanced attack features a potent frontline with 6'10" freshman Derik Queen and 6'9" senior Julian Reese, who combine for [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
