Sports Corner Daily Fades the Public – Big Wins Ahead

Sports Corner Daily’s đź‘€ Results from 02/03/2025

Sports Corner Daily had a good night last night going 2-1 in our selections. Starting in some college basketball action, UAB defeated North Texas 64-61 hitting our UAB -1 selection. This game was close throughout, with UAB making some late free throws to seal the victory. UAB forward Yaxel Lendeborg led all scorers with 17 points in the game as UAB improves to 15-8 on the season and 8-2 in conference play.

In some NBA action, the struggles for the Orlando Magic continued as they fell to the Golden State Warriors 104-99 hitting our Warriors -3 pick. The Magic have now lost 11 out of the last 13 games and have 4 straight losses. The Warriors are now above .500 as they improve to 25-24 on the season and are just behind the Suns to be in the play-in games for the post season.

Finally, in some NHL action last night the Nashville Predators lost to the Ottawa Senators 5-2. Nashville had their chances in this, as they scored early in the third period to tie it, but then gave up 3 goals in a row to Ottawa. Nashville season struggles continue as they fall to 18-27-7 overall and are well outside of any postseason talk. Nashville had strung 5 wins in a row together but have now followed that up with 5 straight losses.

Looking forward to today, we have another 3 picks for you. Just like yesterday, the public is against us on these.

Today's LIVE Bets:

NHL: New Jersey Devils @ Pittsburgh Penguins - 7:00pm ET

Pittsburgh +1.5

Analysis:

Recently, goaltender Allen has struggled on the road, conceding 10 goals in his last three away games, including one performance where he was pulled. Meanwhile, standout New Jersey Devils forward Nico Hischier, who boasts 24 goals, 19 assists, and a +11 rating, is expected to be sidelined until after the upcoming 4 Nations Face Off. This game holds extra significance for the Pittsburgh Penguins, as it marks their final home match, and securing at least one point is crucial. On the bright side, Penguins goalie Alex Nedeljkovic has been in solid…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

NBA: New York Knicks @ Toronto Raptors - 7:30pm ET

Toronto +6.5

Analysis:

The Toronto Raptors, having regained their health, have surged to win eight of their last ten games, setting the stage for an upcoming matchup against the New York Knicks, who recently triumphed over the Houston Rockets in a hard-fought game despite missing former Raptor OG Anunoby due to injury—his absence is expected to continue into Tuesday’s game. In the Knicks' last game, key players Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns (KAT), Josh Hart, and Mikal Bridges logged over 37 minutes each, raising concerns about fatigue, especially since Hart is already dealing with some uncertainty regarding his availability. Although Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau dismisses the notion of "load management," the intense minutes played could lead to reduced energy levels, potentially leaving the team vulnerable in the latter stages of the game. Historically, teams that play back-to-back games tend to experience a decline in performance, and with the Knicks currently holding…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

NCAAB: Michigan State Spartans @ UCLA Bruins - 10:00pm ET

UCLA to win

Analysis:

Michigan State has been in Los Angeles since last Friday, suffering a loss to USC on Saturday and even switched hotels on Sunday, which speaks to their turmoil. Despite Tom Izzo’s commendable coaching, the Spartans have been winning through smoke and mirrors, making them vulnerable against teams with genuine NBA talent. Their next opponent, UCLA, fits that bill perfectly—currently riding a five-game winning streak and having had a break since last Thursday. The Bruins excel defensively, ranking among the nation’s best with a scoring defense allowing just 64.5 points per game, forcing an average of 16.2 turnovers, and maintaining a strong turnover margin of +4.9. This combination of factors suggests… [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
