Tonight’s Best Bets: NHL, NCAAB & NBA Picks Inside

Sports Corner Daily’s đź‘€ Results from 01/31/2025

Let's recap our selections from Friday. Starting in the NBA, the Milwaukee Bucks were defeated by the Spurs in San Antonio 144-118. It was a battle between 6’11 forward Giannis Antetokounmpo and 7’3 forward Victor Wembanyama, as both players had great games. In the end it was the teammates for the Spurs who helped secure the victory as 6 players scored in double figures. This game was close until the third quarter where the Spurs outscored the Bucks by 15 and the Bucks were never able to close that gap to challenge the lead. The Bucks fall to 26-20 overall on the season.

In our other NBA pick on Friday night, the Denver Nuggets got the win over the 76ers 137-134. The 76ers were able to keep this one close thanks to a great performance by guard Tyrese Maxey who scored 42 points and chipped in 9 assists. Denver was led by center Nikola Jokic who was one rebound short of a triple double. Denver improves to 29-19 overall on the season and currently sit at 4th in the western conference standings.

In the NHL on Friday we saw the Colorado Avalanche beat the St Louis Blues 5-0. This game was over early as the Avalanche put up 4 goals in the first period to pretty much put this one away. Wing Jonathan Drouin scored 2 goals for the Avalanche who improve to 30-21-2 on the season and have now won 3 out of the last 4 games.

Looking forward to today, we have 3 picks for you. Be sure to check out The Full Details and What the Public Thinks on these bets before jumping in. Let’s win some money!

Today's LIVE Bets:

NHL: Ottawa Senators @ Nashville Predators - 7:30pm ET

Nashville to win

Analysis:

It appears that top goalie Linus Ullmark is set to return from injury for the Ottawa Senators, but he may be a bit out of game shape after being sidelined since December 2. Additionally, the Nashville Predators have a strong home record, having won four of their last five games at home. Compounding Ottawas' challenges, they might be without one of their key players, Josh Norris, who has contributed significantly with 19 goals and 12 assists this season. The combination of Ullmark's potential rustiness, Nashville's recent home performance, and… [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

NCAAB: North Texas @ UAB - 9:00pm ET

UAB -1

Analysis:

In their previous encounter in Denton, Texas, UAB squandered an 18-point advantage, resulting in a last-second 3-pointer by North Texas's Atin Wright that sealed a 78-75 victory for the Mean Green. Notably, North Texas shot 10-for-18 from three-point range in that game, which contrasts sharply with their recent struggles, as they've only managed to hit 29.5% from beyond the arc over their last three games despite a season average of 36.1%. The upcoming matchup in Birmingham will feature a "White Out" atmosphere, and UAB's Yaxel Lendeborg will likely be key in helping the Blazers secure a win and even the season…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

NBA: Orlando Magic @ Golden St. Warriors - 10:00pm ET

Golden St. -3

Analysis:

While the Golden State Warriors are facing their own challenges, the Orlando Magic are currently in a troubling state, having lost 10 of their last 12 games. Their performance metrics are bleak, ranking 29th in net rating over the past ten games at -15.4 and 29th in offensive rating, with only the Washington Wizards performing worse at -17. Additionally, the Magic have struggled against the spread, going 7-16 in their last 23 games and failing to cover by 4.5 points or more in 14 of those 16 contests, including a dismal 1-9 in their last ten. Notably, nine of their last 11 losses have been by 13 points or more. As the Warriors conclude a six-game homestand, their 3-3 record isn’t sufficient as they transition to a challenging seven-game road trip. However, they have covered the spread in 4 of their last 6 games, and despite… [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
