Sports Corner Daily’s Results and Yesterday’s Recap

Sports Corner Daily had a great night last night in our selections, going 3-1 overall. Lets recap our selections from last night, starting in the NBA where the LA Clippers defeated the Memphis Grizzles 128-114, hitting our ML pick on the Clippers. Kawhi Leonard led all scorers with 25 points for the Clippers who are now 30-23 overall on the season, good enough for the 6 seed in the West.

In some college basketball action last night, the Missouri Tigers defeated the Oklahoma Sooners 82-58, hitting our Missouri -7.5 selection. Missou guard Mark Mitchell led all scorers in the game with 25 points and the Tigers improve to 18-6 overall on the season. The Tigers got off to a hot start in the game, taking a 20 point lead to halftime and not letting Oklahoma go on any runs to cut into the lead in the second. Missouri is in a great spot to get a good seed come March Madness.

In some more college basketball action last night, Georgia Tech defeated Stanford 60-52, hitting our GT -1.5 selection on the game. Georgia Tech started the game off hot, going on a 24-10 run to end the first half and leading by 15 points at halftime. Stanford cut into the lead in the second half but couldn't rally enough to take the lead ever, as they trailed the entire game. Georgia Tech guard Naithan George led all scorers in the game with 22 points.

In our final selection of the night, Robert Morris defeated Cleveland State 68-59, ruining our perfect night and Cleveland State ML selection. Both teams have had good seasons in the horizon conference and are battling for the top seed in the conference tournament. Cleveland State falls to 12-3 in conference play and Robert Morris improves to 11-5 and are now tied for second place in the conference standings.

South Alabama to win

Analysis:

KenPom ranks the South Alabama Jaguars at No. 133 and the Marshall Herd at No. 180, with South Alabama's recent performance showing four losses in their last six games, primarily against tough opponents away from home, including a non-conference matchup against MAC-leading Akron.  On the other hand, Marshall has not played a road game since January 26, raising concerns about their performance outside of familiar territory.  In conference play, South Alabama leads in field goal percentage defense at 35.9% and ranks third in three-point defense at 29.7%, along with being second in…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

NCAAB: Maryland Terrapins @ Nebraska Cornhuskers - 8:30pm ET

Over/Under - 👈  Click to get more info on tonights match up

Over 147.5

Analysis:

In recent matchups, the Nebraska Huskers and Maryland Terrapins have both showcased formidable offensive skills, with the Huskers' offense gaining momentum and the Terps capable of scoring 80 points against any opponent. They both have a strong trend toward hitting the over, each going 7-3 in their last 10 games. Maryland’s backcourt, particularly Selton Miguel, who hits nearly 45% of his threes, is generating excellent scoring opportunities. Additionally, both teams illustrate high-scoring potential, averaging 155 points in Nebraska’s last 10 games and 151 in Maryland’s. Expect a fast-paced game where both…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

NBA: Oklahoma City Thunder @ Minnesota Timberwolves - 8:30pm ET

Against the spread (ATS) - 👈  Click to get more info on tonights match up

OKC -6.5

Analysis:

The Oklahoma City Thunder may rest some players, but their pride and recent impressive performance suggest they will compete vigorously against the Minnesota Timberwolves, who are struggling this season. While the Timberwolves have struggled with negative vibes after a tough home loss and boast a solid record of 19-8-1 ATS at home, the Thunder's deeper roster and stronger overall play give them the advantage. I expect the motivated Thunder to succeed before the All-Star Break, capitalizing on their current intensity… [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
