Sports Corner Daily’s Results and Yesterday’s Recap
Lets recap our college basketball heavy selections from yesterday, where Sports Corner Daily went 2-1 in our picks. The #3 Florida Gators got another big time win, beating the #22 Mississippi State Bulldogs 81-68 and hitting our ML selection on the Gators. This game wasn't without some loss for the Gators as center Alex Condon went down early with a nasty injury. He played just one minute before being helped off the floor. Condon has been vital to the Gators success this season so hopefully he is able to return to action soon. The Gators didn’t let the injury affect them though, as they turned it on in the second half, outscoring the Bulldogs by 14 in the second half. The Gators improve to 21-3 overall.
Next up, we saw the Miami (OH) Redhawks defeat the Toledo Rockets 92-80, hitting our ML selection on the Redhawks. The Redhawks got a huge game from forward Kam Craft who scored 40 points, hitting 9 threes in the process. Miami laid the smackdown early, outscoring the Rockets by 15 in the first half. Miami improves to 19-5 overall and are now 10-1 in conference play winning 13 of their last 14 games.
In our final selection of the night, the Uconn Huskies got the upset win over #24 Creighton Bluejays 70-66. Uconn freshman Liam McNeeley scored 38 points in the win. Creighton had an 8 point lead at half but was unable to hold off a huge rally by Uconn in the second half, as Creighton only scored 29 points in the final 20 minutes and was outscored by 12 in the half. Uconn has had an up and down season but improve to 17-7 overall and are now 9-4 in conference play.

Cleveland State to win
Analysis:
In the Horizon League, Cleveland State is in a strong position at the top with a record of 12-2, while Robert Morris trails in third at 10-5. The Vikings have been on a remarkable run, winning 14 of their last 15 games, encompassing both conference and non-conference play since the league season began in early December. They lead the league in various key metrics, including turnover margin (+4.73), assist-to-turnover ratio (1.64), and steals per game (8.36), and recently secured an 11-point victory over Robert Morris on January 8, further extending their dominance by claiming the last 11 games in this rivalry. Cleveland State is notably undefeated at 14-0 when leading at halftime, showing their ability to maintain control of games once they get ahead. While they boast an 18-0 record when outscoring their opponents, this statistic is somewhat expected for a competitive team. Overall, their defensive prowess and efficiency in…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
NCAAB: Stanford Cardinal @ GA Tech Yellow Jackets - 7:00pm ET
Against the spread (ATS) - 👈 Click to get more info on tonights match up
Ga Tech -1.5
Analysis:
Stanford's senior guard Jaylen Blakes, who averages 14.6 points and 5.0 assists per game, has missed the last three games due to a head injury, which has contributed to the Cardinal's struggles, as they have gone 1-2 straight up and 0-3 against the spread in that span. His status for Wednesday's game at Georgia Tech remains uncertain, making this matchup critical for the Yellow Jackets, who are also dealing with injuries but have found success at home, winning four of their last five ACC games, including recent victories over Louisville and Virginia Tech. Naithan George, a sophomore guard for Georgia Tech, has emerged as a key contributor, averaging 20.8 points over the last four games. In comparison, Stanford has faced difficulties in ACC road games, losing four of their last five contests by double-digit margins. The potential absence…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
NCAAB: Oklahoma Sooners @ Missouri Tigers - 9:00pm ET
Against the spread (ATS) - 👈 Click to get more info on tonights match up
Missouri -7.5
Analysis:
Missouri is primed for a bounce-back performance at home after suffering two tough losses to Tennessee and Texas A&M, making this an ideal opportunity for them to regain momentum. The Oklahoma Sooners have struggled in SEC play on the road and recently delivered a disappointing performance at home against Tennessee, indicating potential vulnerabilities in their game. Although Missouri may not be ranked among the elite teams in the SEC, they have shown strong overall potential, particularly in their ability to dominate mid-tier teams, boasting an impressive 15-1 record at home this season. Based on these factors, there are high expectations for Missouri to secure a victory by double digits, with a recommended betting line of -8 or better. This matchup is crucial for Missouri as they aim to maintain their competitive…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
NBA: Memphis Grizzlies @ LA Clippers - 10:30pm ET
Money Line - 👈 Click to get more info on tonights match up
LA Clippers to win
Analysis:
The Memphis Grizzlies are likely to rest one or two key players during their back-to-back game on Wednesday after facing Phoenix on Tuesday, particularly since it falls just before the break. While the outcome of the Tuesday matchup may influence this decision, teams often prioritize player health at this juncture to allow stars an extra day of recovery. In contrast, the Los Angeles Clippers have had a break since Saturday and will welcome veteran guard Bogdan Bogdanovic to their lineup, as he has been cleared to play following his acquisition from Atlanta. This addition enhances the Clippers' bench depth and could positively impact their performance as they prepare for their upcoming game on Thursday. Resting players reflects the Grizzlies' strategic approach to managing fatigue and injury risks, ensuring their…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
