Sports Corner Daily had a perfect day yesterday, going 2-0 in our selections. Last night in some NFL action, the Lions beat the 49ers 40-34. The Lions got down early and trailed 21-13 at half but figured it out in the third quarter and took the lead. Brock Purdy threw 2 interceptions that were costly for the 49ers, and got hurt in the 4th quarter and was unable to finish the game. This win by the Lions sets up a huge matchup this weekend against the Vikings. Both sitting at 14-2, the winner of that matchup gets the one seed in the NFC conference, locking up homefield advantage for every round while the loser gets sent to the 5 seed and will have to play on the road every round. Definitely looking forward to that game with so much on the line for both teams. 

Yesterday in some college football action, we had the Music City Bowl between Missouri and Iowa. Iowa had a ten point lead but let Missouri score the final 13 points and complete the comeback, winning 27-24. Missouri QB Brady Cook threw for 287 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
