Sports Corner Daily had a split night last night going 1-1 in our football picks. In what might have been the most boring NFL game of the season, the Seahawks snuck out a win over the Bears 6-3. There was no scoring in the second half at all in this one. The Seahawks improved to 9-7 on the season and still have a shot at making the playoffs and sit just half a game back of the Rams for first place in the NFC West.
In a much more exciting game in college football last night Toledo beat Pittsburgh 48-46 in a 6 overtime thriller. Toledo led at half time but let Pitt score 17 unanswered points in the 3rd and 4th quarters to take the lead and put our +7 pick in jeopardy. Luckily for us, Toledo responded and tied the game on a late field goal and the overtime madness started. Tucker Gleason threw for 336 yards in the win and WR Junior Vandeross had 194 receiving yards. What a game.
Looking ahead to today, we have 4 college football bowl picks for you as well as a bonus hockey pick. Let's continue to end the year strong!
β NCAAF - Toledo +7 - Win
β NFL - Seahawks -4 - Lost
