Monday 08/18/2025: -.10 Units

MLB: Seattle to win - 1 Unit (-115) - Lost - -1.15 unit

MLB: Guardians to win - 1 Unit (+105) - WIN - +1.05 unit

In a fireworks display at Citizens Bank Park, every Phillies starter had a hit by the end of the second inning as they ripped through the Mariners’ pitching staff. Trea Turner had a monster night with four hits- he blasted a three-run homer, reached multiple times, and drove in five runs. Bryce Harper crushed back-to-back homers, marking his 30th multi-homer game of his career, while Ranger Suárez penciled in a dominant start with 10 strikeouts over 6 2⁄3 innings. Despite a Mariner surge in the seventh, the Phillies’ offense would not be denied, totaling 21 hits in the rout.

The Guardians snapped a three-game skid behind two early home runs and steady pitching. Rookie C.J. Kayfus opened the scoring with a solo shot in the second inning, and Brayan Rocchio added a two-run homer in the fifth to push Cleveland ahead. Gavin Williams delivered a win on the mound with 5 1/3 scoreless innings, allowing just four hits and earning the victory. Cade Smith closed the door with a save in the ninth after Geraldo Perdomo delivered a late RBI triple for Arizona. The win pulls Cleveland closer in the AL wild-card race, while the D-backs fall to 60-66 after their fourth straight loss.

Brewers to win

Analysis:

The Brewers come into this matchup riding a dominant run- they remain 79-45 and tied for the best record in MLB following a 7-0 win over the Cubs in Game 1, led by Freddy Peralta’s gem and a powered-up offense featuring William Contreras, Christian Yelich, and Brice Turang in the middle of their lineup. Offensively, they’ve rediscovered their stride, despite missing Chourio and Hoskins recently; Andrew Vaughn’s emergence has bolstered their balance and depth. Meanwhile, Chicago's star outfielder Kyle Tucker is in a… [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
