MLB: Marlins to win - 1 Unit (-115) - LOST - -1.15 units

Diving into our game recaps, starting in Atlanta where the Atlanta Braves erased a 6–2 deficit to take down the Miami Marlins in dramatic fashion. Drake Baldwin crushed two home runs and drove in five runs, while Marcell Ozuna added a solo homer and finished with three hits. Despite Miami’s early advantage- jumping out to a 6–2 lead after a big second inning- Atlanta chipped away with three runs in the sixth, two more in the seventh, and capped it with the go-ahead run in the eighth, securing their first win in four games.

In Washington, the Athletics completed a series sweep with a dominant 6–0 shutout over the Nationals. Jacob Lopez delivered a career-best performance, striking out a career-high 10 batters over 7⅔ innings while allowing just three hits and no walks. Offensively, Colby Thomas hit his first major-league home run and drove in three, and Tyler Soderstrom joined the fun with a two-run homer. It was another impressive showing in a stretch where Oakland has won nine of their last 13 games.

Athletics to win

Analysis:

The A’s are starting to carry themselves with a little swagger and for good reason. They just wrapped up a successful series in D.C., taking down the Nationals, and have now won six of their last seven on the road, a stretch that includes a statement four-game sweep in Houston. The bats have been alive and dangerous, consistently putting pressure on opposing pitching staffs, while their own arms have been just as impressive. Jacob Lopez threw seven shutout innings yesterday, continuing his hot streak, and former Mississippi State standout JT Ginn has quietly put… [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

MLB: Houston Astros vs NY Yankees - 1 Unit (-120) - 7:05pm ET

Astros to win

Analysis:

It’s the first showdown of the season between these two AL heavyweights, and the stage is set in the Bronx. Last year, the Yankees had Houston’s number, nearly pulling off a season sweep by winning six of seven meetings, with the only blemish coming in their final matchup at Yankee Stadium where the Astros salvaged one. Fast forward to 2025, and the Yankees are limping into this series after a puzzling trade deadline that’s starting to bite them. They desperately needed a starting pitcher and didn’t land one, and since July 31, they’ve dropped five of their last six games. That shortage of arms forces New York to hand the ball to rookie right-hander Can Schlittler, who comes in with a 4.58 ERA. He’s shown flashes of promise, but relying on him in a marquee matchup, especially with a…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
