Sports Corner Daily’s Results Yesterday’s Recap
Ok, We Get It… We're Just As Frustrated As You Are.
These damn split days, they’re wearing on all of us. One win, one loss… rinse, repeat. It feels like we’re swimming against the current every single night. The progress is minimal, just treading water while waiting for the tide to finally shift in our favor. But here’s the thing, this isn’t our first time in the grind. We've seen these stretches before. Betting is never a straight line, and while the stagnation tests your patience, it’s usually the calm before the breakout. The data is still strong. The edge is still there. And we’re right on the verge.
Stick with us. We’re close. Very close. Let’s turn the page tonight.
Check out a quick recap of our FREE plays from yesterday where we split 1-1 going down -.15 units. ⤵️
Monday 08/04/2025: -.15 Units
❌ MLB: Astros vs Marlins Under 8.5 - 1 Unit (-115) - LOST - -1.15 units
✅ MLB: Brewers to win - 1 Unit (-140) - WIN - +1 unit
Lets take a closer look at our two selections from yesterday, starting in Miami, the Astros snapped the Marlins’ five-game win streak behind a dominant performance from Jason Alexander, who tossed six shutout innings while allowing just three hits and recording six strikeouts. The rally came in the fourth inning: Jeremy Peña, Jesús Sánchez (facing his former team), and Yainer Díaz fueled a five-run surge. Peña added another RBI double later, Cam Smith and Mauricio Dubón drove in runs in the eighth, and Bryan King limited damage despite back-to-back pinch-hit homers in the seventh to preserve the comfortable win.
Next, in Atlanta, The Brewers earned their seventh win in eight games with a 3–1 victory at Truist Park. Starter Quinn Priester continued his outstanding run (now 11–2), tossing seven quality innings and allowing just one run on two hits, striking out four and walking two. Erick Fedde, making his first home start for Atlanta, surrendered a three-run homer to Isaac Collins in the fourth that flipped the game after the Braves had jumped out to an early 1–0 lead on Jurickson Profar’s first-pitch homer. Milwaukee’s bullpen slammed the door, with Trevor Megill picking up his 25th save in a perfect ninth.

Pirates to win
Analysis:
The Pirates have had the Giants’ number all season, winning all four matchups so far including a 5-4 victory last night. Tuesday’s game features a rematch on the mound between Logan Webb and Mike Burrows, the same pitching duel we saw just last week when Pittsburgh pulled off a 2-1 win as a +180 underdog. This time, the Pirates are back at home, where they’ve posted a solid 32-25 record, and they’re currently listed as a +135 underdog overnight. Momentum is clearly on… [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
MLB: Milwaukee Brewers vs Atlanta Braves - 1 Unit (+115) - 6:40pm ET

Brewers -1.5
Analysis:
The Brewers are red-hot, winning 19 of their last 23 games and continuing to assert themselves as one of the most consistent teams in baseball. Tonight, they’ll send Freddy Peralta to the mound in Atlanta, looking to bounce back after Milwaukee dropped his last two outings; a slight hiccup following seven straight wins in his previous appearances. Peralta has been sharp overall, maintaining strong strikeout numbers and limiting hard contact, and tonight’s matchup gives him a solid opportunity to return to form. On the other side, the Braves are grasping for stability in what’s been a turbulent stretch. Joey Wentz has been a rare bright spot since arriving from Minnesota, posting an impressive 1.50 ERA across his last four appearances. Despite his strong performances, Atlanta has lost all three of his recent starts; a telling sign of the team’s broader struggles, especially at the plate. The offense looked completely out of sync in…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
