Let’s dive a little deeper on our two picks from yesterday starting in Seattle, where the Mariners edged the Padres 4-3 behind Eugenio Suárez’s thunderous three-run homer - his 42nd of the season - that put them up early. Bryan Woo kept San Diego in check across 5.2 innings, and Andrés Muñoz nailed down his 31st save despite a tense ninth. Fernando Tatis Jr. doubled home a run to spark a late Padres rally, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Seattle’s early punch.
Next, in Queens, the Phillies couldn’t get anything going as Mets rookie Nolan McLean stole the show in a 6-0 win. The right-hander dazzled with eight shutout innings, scattering four singles and striking out six, becoming the first pitcher in Mets history to win his first three career starts. Mark Vientos provided the big swing with a two-run homer, while Francisco Lindor and Pete Alonso chipped in RBI knocks to seal it. The Mets cruised, the bats stayed quiet for Philly, and the Over 8.5 total never had a chance.

He’s in the thick of the Cy Young race for a reason, and Baltimore’s struggling lineup doesn’t project to change that — the O’s have managed just five total runs across the first three games of this series. The Buffalo Bulls aren’t your typical MAC underdog; they went 9-4 last season and bring back a defense that ranked inside the top 30 nationally, with a front seven that can stack up well against Power Five competition.
