✅ MLB: Cardinals to win - 1 Unit (-140) - WIN - +1 unit
❌ MLB: Phillies to win - 1 Unit (-130) - Lost - -1.3 unit
Lets dive a little deeper on our two picks from yesterday starting at Citi Field, where the New York Mets delivered a statement win over the division-leading Philadelphia Phillies, rolling to a 13-3 victory and erasing a 3-0 early deficit. Luis Torrens erupted for a career-high five RBIs, launching a three-run homer and adding key hits throughout the evening. Mark Vientos delivered two clutch RBI doubles, including the go-ahead knock in the fourth, while the Phillies' starter Cristopher Sánchez had a short outing, giving up a season-high six runs in just over five innings. The Mets capped a dominant offensive outburst with 11-for-19 hitting with runners in scoring position- a major storyline of their August success.
In a dramatic conclusion at Busch Stadium, Alec Burleson crushed a two-out, game-winning solo homer in the ninth inning to lift the St. Louis Cardinals over the Pittsburgh Pirates 7-6. Burleson went 4-for-5 with two runs scored and continues a hot streak that includes multiple extra-base hits in recent games. The contest saw several lead changes- Willson Contreras contributed two RBIs earlier but was ejected in the seventh after a heated argument with the plate umpire, adding a chaotic subplot to the night’s excitement.

Over 8.5
Analysis:
We got a pitcher’s duel in the opener of this series, but Tuesday sets up much differently. Yusei Kikuchi goes for the Angels, and while he looked sharp in his last outing, that came against a slumping Reds lineup at home; in his two starts prior, he was much less effective, surrendering 13 hits and eight earned runs in just nine combined innings. Now he faces a Rangers offense that has been showing steady improvement, ranking top 10 in wOBA and around league average in ISO over the past week, signs that their bats are heating up even if last night’s results didn’t reflect it. On the other side… [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

Cubs to win
Analysis:
We like the Cubs tonight against the Giants as Matthew Boyd takes the mound for Chicago. Boyd has been rock solid all season with a 2.61 ERA and 1.04 WHIP across 25 starts, and he’s been even sharper of late, posting a 2.31 ERA over his last ten outings while keeping the ball in the park and limiting hard contact. That matches up well against a San Francisco lineup that has really struggled against left-handed pitching, hitting just .215 in those spots. On the other side, Justin Verlander has not looked like his vintage self, carrying a… [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
