Lets take a closer look at our selections from over the weekend, starting on Friday where the San Diego Padres edged the Los Angeles Dodgers 2–1 as Yu Darvish and the bullpen combined for a sharp three-hitter, helping San Diego pull even atop the NL West. Meanwhile in Atlanta, the New York Mets exploded for a 12-7 win behind Nolan McLean’s strong seven-inning start and a 21-hit offensive barrage capped by Juan Soto, who homered and drove in four runs.
On Saturday in Miami, the Toronto Blue Jays topped the Marlins 7-6 in a 12-inning thriller with a walk-off RBI single from Bo Bichette that scored the automatic runner George Springer, sealing the comeback after a tight late-game battle. Over in Milwaukee, the San Francisco Giants shut down the MLB-best Brewers with a 7-1 win, as Logan Webb dazzled with six strong innings and Casey Schmitt crushed a three-run homer to break the game open.
Finally, on Sunday, the Texas Rangers completed a sweep of the Cleveland Guardians with a dominant 5-0 win, fueled by Merrill Kelly’s seven scoreless innings and home runs from Rowdy Tellez and Joc Pederson. Later that day in Milwaukee, the Giants pulled off a dramatic 4-3 comeback over the Brewers, rallying in the ninth inning and sealing the series win with Heliot Ramos’ clutch two-out, two-run single.

Phillies to win
Analysis:
The Mets may have just handled the Braves, taking two of three in their weekend set, but Monday’s opener against the Phillies feels like a much tougher assignment. Philadelphia hands the ball to Cristopher Sanchez, who is quietly putting together a Cy Young-caliber season. He’s sporting a sharp 2.63 FIP and 1.10 WHIP, and he’s coming off a dominant outing against Seattle where he struck out 12 over 6 1/3 innings while allowing just two runs. The Phillies have won three of his last four starts, and in each of those victories Sanchez limited opponents to two earned runs or fewer, showing just how steady he’s been. On the flip side, Kodai Senga has yet to find his rhythm since…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
MLB: Pittsburgh Pirates vs St Louis Cardinals - 1 Unit (-140) - 7:45pm ET

Cardinals to win
Analysis:
Johan Oviedo takes the mound for Pittsburgh as he continues working back from Tommy John surgery, but while he’s shown flashes with nine strikeouts over six innings in two starts, his track record remains shaky with a career 4.33 ERA and 1.40 WHIP across more than 320 innings. St. Louis goes with Michael McGreevy, who has been serviceable through 10 appearances, carrying a 4.26 ERA and 1.18 WHIP while limiting home runs well, though his light 14% strikeout rate suggests he relies more on contact and defense than overpowering hitters. Offensively, the Pirates have been dreadful in divisional road games, hitting just .178 in 19 contests, and their bullpen hasn’t helped, posting a 4.56 ERA over the last 28 games. By contrast, St. Louis has been far more dependable at home, batting .254 while its relievers have posted a… [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
