MLB: Phillies -1.5 - 1 Unit (+105) - WIN - +1.05 unit

Lets recap our two free plays from yesterday where the Cubs held off the Brewers with a gritty 6-4 win in Game 1 of a doubleheader at Wrigley Field. Owen Caissie delivered in a big way with a two-run single and finished with three RBIs, while Willi Castro added a massive three-run homer- both accounting for half of Chicago’s offense. Christian Yelich homered to spark Milwaukee’s comeback, and Sal Frelick tallied multiple hits and RBIs, narrowing the early deficit. Despite the pressure from the Brewers, four Cubs relievers combined for 3 2/3 innings of two-hit relief after Matthew Boyd exited in the sixth.

In Philadelphia, the Phillies beat the Mariners 6-4 in a game filled with clutch heroics and momentum swings. J.T. Realmuto’s go-ahead two-run homer in the eighth proved pivotal, while Kyle Schwarber and Bryson Stott also connected for homers earlier in the game. David Robertson picked up the win in relief, and Jhoan Duran locked down his 22nd save since joining the team at the trade deadline.

Blue Jays -1.5

Analysis:

The Pirates look like an entirely different team when Paul Skenes isn’t on the mound, and tonight that drop-off feels even sharper with Johan Oviedo getting the ball. Oviedo has been fighting his way back after Tommy John surgery and a long layoff, bouncing between the majors and AAA Indianapolis this year, and he still hasn’t found consistent footing. That kind of instability doesn’t inspire much confidence, especially when paired with a Pirates offense that has been the weakest in the National League, ranking dead last in runs scored. On the other side, Toronto is positioned well to take this series after Tuesday’s 7-3 win behind Max Scherzer. Chris Bassitt, who starts tonight, hasn’t…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

Brewers to win

Analysis:

Milwaukee’s winning streak came to a screeching halt at Wrigley Field on Tuesday as the Cubs swept both ends of a doubleheader, tightening the NL Central race in the process. The series wraps up tonight with Chicago looking to gain even more ground while the Brewers aim to flip the momentum back in their favor. Taking the mound for Milwaukee is rookie right-hander Jacob Misiorowski, who has been one of the more intriguing young arms in baseball this season. He burst onto the scene in June with a dominant 3-0 run and a microscopic 1.13 ERA through his first three… [Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
