Tuesday 08/12/2025: 2 Units

MLB: Blue Jays to win - 1 Unit (-120) - WIN - +1 unit

MLB: Brewers to win - 1 Unit (-120) - WIN - +1 unit

Lets take a closer look at these plays, starting in Toronto, the Blue Jays cruised to a 5-1 victory over the Chicago Cubs, becoming the first American League team of the season to reach 70 wins. Ernie Clement launched a three-run homer, supported by a solo shot from Daulton Varsho. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. added three hits, while starter José Berríos dazzled over 5 1⁄3 scoreless innings, scattering just two hits. The Cubs got only a lone RBI from Michael Busch, continuing their offensive struggles even with key players returning from injury.

Over in Milwaukee, the Brewers crushed the Pirates 14-0 to extend their winning streak to 11 games- the second-longest in franchise history. Freddy Peralta delivered six strong innings of three-hit ball, while the offense erupted: Sal Frelick, Brice Turang, Christian Yelich, Andrew Vaughn, and Caleb Durbin all homered. Milwaukee's run production was relentless, lighting up the scoreboard with power and precision, and improving their standing atop the NL Central even further.

Brewers -1.5

Analysis:

Two separate 11-game winning streaks in one season is a rare feat, but that’s exactly what the red-hot Milwaukee Brewers have pulled off, and it’s a big reason they’re running away with the NL Central. Their latest surge hit a new high last night with a 14-0 dismantling of the Pirates, a game that showcased just how dominant they’ve been in all facets. One constant in their recent run has been Brandon Woodruff. Since returning from the IL in early July, he’s started six games, and the Brewers haven’t lost a single one. Over that stretch, Woodruff has been nearly untouchable, posting a 2.29 ERA and an…Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

MLB: Chicago Cubs vs Toronto Blue Jays - 1 Unit (-130) - 7:07pm ET

Blue Jays to win

Analysis:

The Cubs send rookie right-hander Cade Horton to the mound, and while his season numbers look solid with a 3.18 ERA and 1.22 WHIP over 15 appearances, the road has been far less kind to him. Horton does not overpower hitters, striking out just 18% while allowing a fair share of contact, and facing Toronto’s current lineup could be a nightmare scenario. The Blue Jays are absolutely locked in at the plate, leading all of baseball in offensive production over the last 30 days with a scorching .302 team batting average across their past 25 games. It is not just the stars like Vladimir Guerrero Jr. doing damage, even the bottom of the order, including Clement, is producing…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
