Monday 08/11/2025: 2 Units

MLB: Brewers -1.5 - 1 Unit (+100) - WIN - +1 unit

MLB: TB Rays to win - 1 Unit (-110) - WIN - +1 unit

Lets take a deeper look at our plays from yesterday starting in Milwaukee where the Brewers extended their win streak to 10 games in impressive fashion. José Quintana shined with six innings of one-run, three-hit ball, while Christian Yelich launched a homer and Brice Turang added a leadoff shot to ignite a four-run third inning. The bullpen, featuring Grant Anderson and Shelby Miller, shut the Pirates down from there. Andrew Heaney struggled for Pittsburgh, allowing six runs in four innings. With the win, the Brewers held the best record in MLB and further distanced themselves atop the NL Central.

Next, The Rays snapped a three-game skid with a solid offensive display at Sutter Health Park. Brandon Lowe and Junior Caminero delivered back-to-back home runs in the seventh inning to stretch a 6-1 lead. Ryan Pepiot turned in a strong outing, going 6 ⅓ innings and allowing just three runs, while Pete Fairbanks notched his 20th save. Oakland made things interesting in the sixth with a three-run rally, but couldn’t complete the comeback.

Blue Jays to win

Analysis:

Chicago turns to Ben Brown tonight, and it’s been a rocky campaign for the young right-hander. Through 19 appearances, he’s carrying a rough 6.04 ERA and 1.44 WHIP, showing some strikeout ability with a 25.4% K-rate but also giving up his fair share of damage, particularly via the long ball at 1.56 HR/9. While he keeps the ball on the ground at a decent 43.4% clip, recent outings haven’t been kind; over his last five appearances, Brown’s ERA has ballooned to 7.04, suggesting hitters are picking him up more easily as the season wears on. On the other side, Toronto sends out… Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

MLB: Pittsburgh Pirates vs Milwaukee Brewers  - 1 Unit (-120) - 7:40pm ET

Brewers to win

Analysis:

The Brewers may be staring down Paul Skenes tonight, but that’s hardly an automatic loss. In fact, they got to him the last time they met, tagging the young ace for four earned runs in just four innings on their way to a win. This Milwaukee team is absolutely rolling, riding a 10-game winning streak where they’ve outscored opponents by an average of 4.3 runs per game. The lineup has been relentless, batting .292 over their last 24 games, and I expect them to generate enough offense again to back Freddy Peralta, who’s been lights-out at home this season. Peralta gets a dream matchup against a Pirates offense that ranks dead last in MLB in both runs per game and OPS, and they…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
