Sports Corner Daily’s Results and Yesterday’s Recap

We picked up one unit yesterday from our selections. 👇 We are now up 9 Units the past week!

 MLB - Detroit ML - 1 Unit - Lost

MLB - Tampa Bay ML - 1 Unit - Win

 NBA - Denver Over 234.5 - 1 Unit - Win

Lets take a look at our selections from yesterday. In MLB, we had Detroit on the moneyline against the Yankees. The Tigers showed serious fight late, putting up 3 runs in the bottom of the 9th inning to make it interesting after trailing all game. Despite the late rally and leaving runners stranded, they couldn’t quite complete the comeback, ultimately falling short in a tight finish and costing us that unit. Our second MLB play was a win, as we backed Tampa Bay to win outright against the LA Angels. The Rays came out strong and never let up, putting together a complete game on both sides of the ball. With solid pitching and timely hitting, they kept the Angels in check and cruised to a convincing win, cashing that ticket cleanly.

Over in the NBA, we looked to the total in the Denver vs. Sacramento matchup, taking the Over 234.5, and that play delivered. The game was fast-paced from the start, with Jokic and Fox trading buckets in what turned into a high-scoring shootout. Both teams pushed the pace and filled the stat sheet, helping us seal the win well before the final buzzer.

In total, we ended the night +1 unit, picking up two wins on the board. Let’s stay hot and keep building on this momentum!

MLB: Toronto vs. Boston - 1 Unit - 4:10pm ET

Boston to win

Analysis:

It’s quite rare for Boston to be swept four games at home, which adds intrigue to the matchup. There’s a reasonable expectation that the Toronto players might come out a bit flat since they have already secured the series win and will soon be traveling to Baltimore. Additionally, their top reliever, Jeff Hoffman, is likely unavailable after pitching two innings in Wednesday's extra-inning victory, which could…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

Pacers -9

Analysis:

We’ve reached a pivotal moment in the NBA season where teams with playoff spots secured tend to ease off as they approach the final few meaningless regular-season games, a trend evident with the Celtics and Rockets last night, and the Cavaliers are following suit. Having clinched the top seed in the Eastern Conference, Cleveland has announced their intentions for tonight’s game by resting key players such as Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley, and Darius Garland, resulting in a mostly reserve lineup facing the Pacers in Indiana. In contrast, the Pacers are in a strong position, having won 9 of their last 11 games and needing just one more victory to secure the fourth seed, which would grant them crucial home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs. Given this…Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...

NBA: Minnesota vs. Memphis - 1 Unit - 9:30pm ET

Minnesota Over 116.5 total points

Analysis:

It’s challenging to assess the motivation levels of various teams this week, especially with playoff scenarios looming. However, after a dismal performance that saw the Wolves allow a staggering 34-3 run against the Bucks, it’s reasonable to expect them to strive for a more complete effort over four quarters before the playoffs begin. The situation in Memphis adds to the unpredictability of this matchup; firing their head coach hasn’t done much to fix their defensive woes. The Grizzlies have been particularly vulnerable at home, allowing an average of 124 points per game over their last 13 outings and conceding 115 or more points in 11 of those games. Their overall defensive rating places them at a mediocre 16th in the league during this span, and they…[Click here to get the Full write up on this bet]...
